Potential service disruptions due to strike action

High Speed 1, owners of the high speed railway between St Pancras International and the Channel Tunnel, has a maintenance and operation contract with Network Rail. Some Network Rail staff belonging to the RMT and TSSA unions have announced that they plan to take industrial action between 06:00 and 10:00, and between 18:00 and 22:00 each day from Tuesday 6 April to Friday 9 April. Rail travel during the Easter weekend will not be affected.
Negotiations between the unions and Network Rail are ongoing to resolve this dispute and avoid any industrial action. However, if strike action does go ahead we will continue to work closely with Network Rail, Eurostar and Southeastern high speed service to ensure High Speed 1 has a timetable that is as close to normal as possible.
